Ah~! So two more pages for you, for my missing another week.
I dunno, I kinda like this, two pages at a time. It's almost like I'm updating in a more realistic format. Because when you're really reading a comic book, you're not only seeing one page at a time, you're seeing two. Unless you're one of those heathens who folds their pages back, in which case I don't know if we can be friends.
It's been very, very busy for me this past few weeks. It hasn't exactly kept me from drawing, I've been doing tons and tons of that. It's made me lazy about updating though. Actually sitting down and making the effort to scan the pages and making sure the scans look good and blah dee blah dee blooh~ and then having to write a blog entry that's like, sorta worth reading. That's a huge problem for me, you guys have seen in the past, where I'm just like "yeah, so this is all I have to say, bye" after two or three paragraphs.
It's a tremendous demand, having to come up with something cool to say about what I'm doing with my comics n' stuff week in and week out. Especially when my projects are so long form that week in and week out all I can really say is "yeah, so I'm STILL working on TransCat". That gets weary after awhile.
I need to let shit lie for awhile, allow my life and my work to accumulate some awesome stuff to talk about SO that I can talk about it! Or.. I just need to do more stuff on a day-to-day basis. Just a thought.
On that note, I did do something awesome this week! I went to SteamStock! not for myself, actually, it wasn't really a prime opportunity to be selling my comics, since I have pretty much zero steampunk themes going on in any of my stories at the moment. I was there actually helping a friend Lucrezia sell her amazing custom clothing. Also I was there to enjoy the scene and the music, and enjoy it I did! I would mos def go again. Apparently last year, Thomas Dolby was the headlining act! I would have loved to have seen that. He did not return this year, but thankfully there were plenty of amazing acts, including Mr. B The Gentleman Rhymer, and Lee Presson and the Nails. I'd venture to say there actually wasn't a single performer that I didn't enjoy, everyone was amazing, even if I had never heard of most of them. I have the program right here with me, and I'm gonna make it a point to track down and follow all this music.
