The Ballad of 'Ol Shootin' Jed: Page 14

So it's been a couple weeks, right? Yeahh.
So I went on vacation, and I forgot to mention anything about it beforehand.
I do that sorta thing sometime, because I'm a dick.
But in all seriousness, I needed a vacation. It wasn't so much of a vacation as it was a mission, a fact finding mission. If you've been following the facebook  then you know I've been putting a lot of time and effort into realizing this feminist super hero comics idea I had. Not only do I really want to make it happen but I want it to be amazing, unparalleled even.
So I took a trip up to Mills College in Oakland to meet up with my old buddy Lisa. Lisa is an artist of amazing caliber, she's also super intelligent and on top of that, a well read feminist. I wish I had a link to show you some of her work, but it doesn't exist on the internets yet. Rest assured though, the time will come, and you'll be able to share in the genius!
So in either case. Lisa and some of her friends really helped me out with this story, and I feel like I'm on a really good path right now. I think i'm a ways away from fully realizing it yet, so I'm certain it won't be the first project that gets picked up after Shootin' Jed. A comic that changes the world can't be just thrown together in a couple years! There's lots I need to learn. There's a lot more to writing a feminist comic than simply reading and learning about feminism. My whole approach has to be different, as I'm now crafting inside of a universe of which i'm not totally familiar. Blood Will Tell was easy because it was all just me writing from emotions. Dave the Cat was easy because it's all just silly comedy, which I totally love. Last but not least, Shootin' Jed is easy because it was written FOR me by someone who is also an amazingly talented and intelligent writer.
This though... this will be hard.
I am however, completely up for the challenge!

In other news, I got a table for fanime.
I should... probably find out what the table number is, so you guys can find me.
Yeah...
