Dave the Punk Rock Cat's Big Adventure Page 7

So looking back on what I've done with this comic so far, I came to the realization that I'm almost finished with it. The story arc is at its apex, and it ready to come to it's dramatic close :) I think this is the fastest I've ever pumped out a book, and the real kicker is, i'm really happy with it so far!
Here's a thought to ponder, people are really used to Dave the Punk Rock Cat dealing in comedy, albeit a darker style of comedy, but yuck-yucks none the less. I wonder how the audience would react to Dave if he were telling a more dramatic story. While the convention of punk rock, and rock and roll through the ages is rife with parody-able moments, there are plenty of rough and tumble, hard nosed heart break stories a person can tell as well. Maybe I'm just missing working on Blood Will Tell, and I'm ready and rarin' for some dramatic tragedy. Regardless, how would a melancholy tale of rock gone wrong feel coming out of Dave's muzzle? As always, I welcome thoughts and opinions.
